TEACHING

Now that the CAA has taken a back seat on safeguarding, training is no longer available for airport staff. ASD is able to fill that gap, and has already given courses to many airports. These usually take one day, and are held on site with a syllabus tailored to the needs of the user. If familiarisation with safeguarding is required rather than hands-on training, then a seminar such as those below would be appropriate.

SEMINARS

Safeguarding seminars and briefings can be given to airport staff as well as other appropriate organisations such as Local Planning Authorities. Many airports and LPAs throughout UK have already benefited from this service ensuring that both sides of the safeguarding process understand its significance, while cementing the working relationship between the two.
